Donate: Please donate to our chess club. We are always on the financial edge and continually have to keep raising funds or dip into mypocketbook to send students to tournaments and buy new equipment. You can help fund students by a tax-deductible donation to the Blaine County School District Chess Club. I receive absolutely no compensation for my time or efforts from the school district, students, or fund-raising activities and I personally fund students that do not have the money to go to tournaments and would like the community to help with this invaluable program.

Growth: We began 13 years ago with 8 students and no equipment to over 40 students and tremendous tournament and equipment needs. The BCSD offers an elective-credit class: Integrating Chess & Critical Thinking.

Needs: Your money will support lodging expenses for away tournaments, t-shirts, chess boards/pieces/clocks, training workbooks, and tournament fees. Or, you can specifically help with equipment (see below), travel, sponsor a student in financial need, or sponsor an upcoming tournament (trophies). Sponsor a student or a tournament, please!
